The west bank baby, Hey-Zooz surfaced with his debut mixtape Now Hiring that garnered attention from Grammy Award winner, Craig King, which helped him storm onto the Atlanta hip-hop scene with performances during 2019 Superbowl week in Atlanta, Georgia.

Born in Santa Monica, California, to a Jewish father and African-American mother, at the age of 7 his family moved to West Bank, Israel. The setting of the west bank gives his music is a unique blend of conflict as he navigates understanding his own trauma and mental health. Determined to find an outlet for expression, he used music with uncanny lyrical ability and diverse sound.

Inspired by artists such as Damian Marley, Tupac Shakur, Nas, as well as Tracy Chapman, Hey-Zooz carries tension against broken systems.

In 2019, Hey-Zooz suffered a major knee injury that inspired his EP Recovery where he dove into both physical and mental health. He believes that through consistency and hard work anyone can see success—no matter how difficult life gets.

After releasing multiple singles, in 2021 he released his album Welcome to Life which dives into his life in both West Bank, Israel and The United States.
